The Great Gatsby Retro Fashion Jewelry

The Great Gatsby is the most important representative work of American author, F. Scott Fitzgerald. This novel has been adapted for the screen, and this film is regarded as one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2012. Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio plays the leading role, Gatsby, while Carey Mulligan plays Daisy Buchanan, a married woman who is loved by Gatsby.

The story is set in 1922, seven years before the Wall Street Crash that led to the Great Depression, and centres on this futile tragedy of an ordinary man trying to work his way into the privileged elite.

Though the object of his affection is married, and their longed-for union is ultimately doomed, there's no denying the chemistry even this photo captures.

The Long Island elite come out to play, as Leonardo and Carey pose alongside Tobey Maguire, who plays the novel's narrator Nick Carraway, and Joel Edgerton, who plays Carey's on-screen husband. Carey wears bling beads bracelets and hairbands, and she looks stunning and charming.

In one still Leonardo, 37, who plays nouveau riche businessman Gatsby, is seen holding his love interest, Daisy Buchanan. Daisy, played by English rose Carey Mulligan, looks anguished as she clutches at Gatsby's arm, her head resting against his chest.

Her blonde hair in a chic twenties-style bob, 26-year-old Caret looks every inch the Long Island aristocrat of the classic novel. Carey wears checkered headcloth and pearl earrings, the classical retro fashion style.

The film looks set to be a sumptuous and detailed portrayal of the beautiful and the damned lifestyle literary classic. Carey here wears elegant purple frock, and she does not wear any other jewelries except for a simple white hairpin.
